The Flying Saucer Cafe, is at one of the most happening place in Nehru Place i.e at Epicuria mall. Known for the famous Sufi nights this place is a boon for all music lovers and foodies. The interiors are done with a touch of class.
The Flying saucer cafe is a heaven for all the food lovers and once you are here, don't forget to try our Dimsums, Grilled sole fish, Caesar salad, Pork chops, Dahi kebab and the mushroom galauti kebab. The bar menu is filled with some of the most exotic drinks and the hookahs have some of the most exquisite flavor options.
The objective was to start a campaign and create awareness about the café in Delhi by targeting campaigns to the right target group.
The key objectives were.
• Build brand and increase the fan base
• Audience engagement
• Reach new audience
• Create viral campaigns
• Using word of mouth marketing e.g Updating reviews by food bloggers on Food sites like Hmm!, Zomato! Etc.
The restaurant industry already has a lot of competition and established players in social media. To build a credible and unique brand identity for The Flying Saucer was a challenge and developing a spot on campaign for all the social media platforms that are in sync with the brand. Our target audiences are foodies, food lovers and party loving people and it was difficult to grab their attention.
We started with campaigns that drew engagement on the page and increased the reach and traffic of the page.
Tonality: It was important to create the page that aligns with the brand identity of The Flying Saucer Café. The motive was to give the page a sense of tonality on all the active platforms. To achieve the same the posts for events, campaigns were designed in Red and White color which gave the page a sense of consistency. The Bar and café theme is maintained in the posts.
Using a Flagship Font: We used specific fonts like Nexa and Dynamo with an idea that audience can relate and associate with Fork You Too.
Playing Around USPs:
The major audience on the page is from the age group of 18years – 24years, who are extensively active on Social media platforms. We focused on the USPs of the café and worked around the same with posts and graphics. Keeping in mind the target audience, posts were created quirky and funny to maintain high engagement on the page.
Promoting The Events: The events of the café were extensively promoted on page to drive the engagement on the page and eventually getting the footfall at café for the event.
The Party Fact Café: The Flying Saucer Café is all about party, dance and amazing food. We ran a campaign 'The Party Fact Café' to promote the events at the café indirectly by syncronzing the posts with the event promotions. The funny and quirky facts were posted keeping in mind the target audience of the page.
Music Launch 'Swag Babe': Café has a huge audience dedicated to music and food. The music launch event of Swag Babe in presence of celebrities like Bohemia and Priyank Sukhija was a great success. The launch event was a buzz in the town.
The quality of content created and posted on The Flying Saucer Cafe social media channels was high in terms of creativity and branding. Content was strictly aligned towards Food, drinks, cuisines and events with quirky and fun factor. The posts showed good organic reach and impressions on all the active platforms. The Flying Saucer Cafe has a fan base of over 69,000 plus on Facebook, 250 plus Followers on Twitter, and has close to 1,500 followers on Instagram.
The Facebook page fan base increased to 69,000 plus. Twitter followers have increased to 250 plus with Instagram followers close to 1,500.
• The post reach on Facebook showed reach of 17,000 plus (unique people who see our posts).
• The tweets where retweeted and favorites by the influencing people like eminent food bloggers and web sites.
• 1 million total reach and organic reach on Facebook.
• The 2.7 million of impressions seen of any content associated with The Flying Saucer Cafe.
• The Instagram received over 2,200 likes and 72 comments on the campaigns we posted.
